About the kitchen.
There is one thing we love more than vegetables at Grow, and that is you. Getting to know our neighbours. This kitchen is designed to facilitate more hanging out, and more eating pizza. We will be hosting community dinners, and cooking workshops each month. Keep an eye on our social media for more information.
Feel free to enjoy it’s shade, and of course, you are welcome to attend one of our weekly working bees too, on Sundays from 2-4pm.
The Pizza Oven?
So you are interested in the pizza oven. We are not surprised; it’s quite impressive, isn’t it? Gardening is not for everyone (we think it should be, but that’s just us), but we have yet to meet someone who doesn’t like pizza. We will be hosting regular community dinners, free of charge, cooking up eye-watering amounts of pizza. Check out our social media for information on the next dinner.
Unfortunately, the fireplace is not available for the public to use. Open flames and 500-degree ovens are a bit of a health and safety risk. Read on for how you can host a dinner in the space.
Can I hire the space?
Of course you can. There is a fee (which contributes to our fundraising efforts) then it’s all yours. The following is available to hire…
Use of the space, including the glasshouse
Additional tables and chairs
Access to drinking water, glasses, and cutlery
Gazebos for more shade
If you are interested in a catered dinner (pizza or anything else) or a private cooking class, please let us know and we can discuss options and pricing.
